The Gallery -- Morning

The prompt from The Gallery this week was 'Morning', so I looked back through my files and chose these.

Kato Paphos is a tourist spot, usually heavy with the smell of suncream and souvlaki, loud with the ubiquitous Mediterranean whine of scooters and the tooting of horns, full of children and life and ice-cream.  But on the Sunday mornings of mid-summer, when the air is pre-humid clear and the water as yet unstirred by the feet of bathers, it can be a paradise.

I was experimenting with shadows and wet footprints that morning.

Please follow the Gallery link and see how others approached the Morning prompt.

    1. I think it's the one time that Kato Paphos is pleasant -- early on a summer morning. I think I took these at around 10 -- an hour later and the humidity and noise have set in :(

  5. I haven't done the Gallery for a while but so enjoyed coming back to it this week.

Sunshine - how I wish for some of that in the UK at the moment. My husband would love the sunbathing area at Kato Paphos as he hates the sand: this decking is fabulous.

    1. Hi Trish,
Thanks for stopping by :) I think they did this renovation about 3-4 years ago. I try and avoid the place most of the time, but they did a big face lift and put in the decking and showers and really improved the swimming area. I think that they charge like the Light Brigade for the sunbeds to make up the cost, but it seems to be a popular place for visitors, and it's a lot more accessible than it was.
